Itinerary description
Una salida con el grupo de Turismo de Mijas, con José Manuel y Rosa como guías. Salimos en coche desde el Polideportivo hasta Los Arenales donde aparcamos. El camino es por carretera de campo, muy fácil. Transcurre por un bosque muy bonito con pinos, encinas, arbustos de muchos tipos y también vimos muchas orquídeas, aunque hay pocos este año comparado a otro años por la falta de lluvia. Nosotros hemos dado la vuelta a los 5 km, pero se puede hacer la distancia que quiera porque la carretera continua.
We did this route with the Group organised by Mijas Tourism, and it was guided by José Manuel and Rosa. We met at the Sports Centre and went from there in cars to the old Sand Quarry where we parked. The route starts there and is a country road, a good surface and makes for very easy walking. It runs through beautiful wooded land with Pines, oaks, many different types of shrubs and we also saw many orchids, however not as many as previous years due to the lack of rain. We began our return at 5 km, but you can continue further along the road.
