Itinerary description
Circular route, entering at the trailhead on the road above Mijas Pueblo. You must take the ‘blue route’ for most of the ascent and then turn inland on a small trail until you see the ‘Bol’ on the top of Pico Mijas. Follow the ridge line around to meet the summit. Return journey took a separate route down on the ‘yellow route’ before reconvening at the bottom of the ‘blue route’ to return to Mijas Pueblo. Lovely hike.
