TOUR DESCRIPTION
---------------------------------
Starting point is the parking area at the Tarabita. There you have to pay an entrance fee of 5,00 USD per person (Tarabita: 2,00 USD & Entrance fee: 3,00 USD). Children get a discount. The 530 m long cable car (span. Tarabita) swings from here at a height of about 150 m over the Nambillo River. The wide view over the dense cloud forest is breathtaking. The hike begins on the other side at the Tarabita on the left. The well-marked trail leads from here down into the Nambillo River Canyon. After a few hundred meters there is a turn-off to the right to the Nambillo waterfall (there is a small rest area on the left). Continue straight on here and follow the path towards the "Santuario de Cascadas". It continues downhill until we come across a small water jet (Guagua Cascada) where you can take a fresh shower. Shortly after, turn right and cross a bridge to reach the 1st waterfall (Ondinas). Then turn around again and walk on to the 2nd waterfall (Guarúmos), which is also reached over a bridge. The first two waterfalls have a quiet, natural pool and are very good for swimming. The somewhat hidden 3rd waterfall (Colibríes) can also be reached by turning right. At the 4th waterfall (Madre) you cross the river and you might get wet feet. The path continues on the other side to the 5th waterfall (Maderos), which is beautifully embedded in the landscape. Afterwards you go back on the same way to the Tarabita.

DESCRIPCIÓN DEL TOUR
----------------------------------------
