Itinerary description
A beautiful hike through the fields, marsh, and forests. Defined by a lot of forks that you must carefully chose.
You can find taxis that drop you off at the center of Miomp and start walking north. Other guidebooks say you need to hire a guide from the village but by following these GPS coordinates it is pretty easy. You will notice the one part where we took the wrong path and had to backtrack walking through a field.
There are some parts of the marsh that can be high and require taking your shoes of and wading through if it is high tide.
When you reach Point Saint Georges there are several guesthouses to stay at. Every other day there is a boat heading to Ziguinchor or you can hike back.
