Itinerary description

A walk that is uphill to the parking area at Plazoleta Salvador Guerrero at a height above sea level of about 1259m. The walk started beside the Mirador de los Cyclistas by walking a short way on the road and turning left onto track. The part up to crossing the Arroyo de la Cola is reasonable, after the Arroyo the track narrows and is steeper. The climb starts to get steeper at the next turn to the right. After that it is a rocky, steep uphill path with some scrambling over rocks. There are cairns and white/yellow markers that help find the way. Hiking or trail running footwear plus plenty of water/liquid is needed. The February day weather - temp 15degC but the sunshine made it feel warmer.
