Itinerary description

A mostly downhill route from the stunning Mirador La Centinela to Costa del Silencio. The walk begins by following mountain paths to the TF1 by Las Chafiras before crossing the coastal plain. The section around the TF1 involves some road walking as the route passes through a tunnel under the motorway. This section is not very pleasant but isn't too long. Care needs to be taken in the tunnel. The walk finishes with an attractive section of coastal path from Playa Las Colmenares and a climb onto the volcanic cone of Montana Amarilla.
