Itinerary description

This linear route starts at Km3 of the TF38 road from Boca de Tauce to Chio, and ends at Km6 of the same road. We explored the paths below, especially the path between the PR TF 70 and the path which descends direct from Km 3 to Chirche. This has been signposted as part of the route between the Refugio de Tagara and the Refugio de Chasogo, but it has not been cleared. There are a couple of rock landslips which have to be scambled over, and there are numerous places where a deviation from the path is needed to get around debris, mostly fallen shrubs which were burnt in the forest fire in 2012. We lost the path in a couple of places, so you need to use the GPS. Also the places where you cross the Barranco streambeds are eroded, making a difficult descent into, and/or a difficult ascent out. However, some parts of the path were clear to see, though somewhat overgrown. If you want to cross from the Refugio de Tagara to the Refugio de Chasogo, it would be quicker to use the higher route, as it is easier to walk than the lower path (until it is cleared which I hope it will be!)
