Itinerary description
This really beautiful walk starts with a gradual climb of about 3 kilometres along a concrete/dirt road with continuous views. The Mirador de las Minas is beautifully situated and a good place to have a picknick and enjoy the view.
From this Mirador two tracks go higher: Sendero de Las Minas and Sendero Jurite, the last mentioned even reaches 1000m.
After about 750 metres along the dirt road leading from the Mirador the track becomes a narrow one leading you to the Mirador El Nacimiento and after crossing the stream of the Barranco El Pueblo and passing the Area Recreativa this track becomes and remains very imressive indeed.
At the junction with the track called Senda del Minchar de Arriba, which also goes up to 1000m., the track descends, first along a very rocky stretch, to Molvizar.

Wat een geweldige route! Wij hebben de route gevolgd zoals aangegeven, maar volgende keer zou ik hem liever andersom lopen, omdat je nu moet afdalen over een stenig pad. De route staat vrij goed aangegeven met bordjes en paaltjes. Een echte aanrader!
Dank je wel voor je reactie! Ik ben het met je eens, maar anderzijds is als je hem andersom loopt de afdaling dan wel wat saaier.
