Itinerary description
I did part of this route in 2009 and since then I have had the gnawing wish to return and do the whole route. We went early one morning and we left our car in the ample car park near the beginning of the route. We walked down the cement road until we arrived at the point where the route really starts, and where there is information and a map. From this point the route began to reveal its mysteries, surprises and richness. There are so many that it is impossible to list them. Not even the photos, in themselves really beautiful, can one appreciate what this route has to offer to the hiker. It is necessary to do the hike to experience the sensations it provides. It's a complete route, it has everything, the river. mountains, the gorge, caves, hanging bridges, landscapes, vegetation and paths winding their way along the whole route. It has easy parts, but also some difficult and complicated parts. For example, the hiker needs a good level of agility to get through the stretch along the riverbank in the gorge, two or three times you have to crawl .... yes, on all fours. But for the agile, experienced and careful hiker, there is no real danger. Do it! I guarantee you will be surprised and glad you did it. Our guide was Miguel Angel Robles.

Perfecto, muchas gracias tomo nota.
un saludo

I was there yesterday, and I did more than this route, 16 km/830m+. I don't know how you made 1300 m+. According to your route, maybe you made around 600m+, but no way 1300+.
Of course you are correct, BUT remember that in 2014 the quality of GPS was far less accurate than now. Then, when you went under a rock formation the GPS recordings went wild. Now, even a smartphone GPS is 20 times stronger, and far more accurate, than the hand held Hiking Garmin of the early years of the century.
