Itinerary description
Monfort Castle
A great area for hiking in Northern Israel.
There are lots of options for hiking in this area. We parked at the top, near Hila village.
First, we went down the red trail which passes through the Monfort ruins.
We continued down the red trail to the stream in the bottom of the valley.
Next, we followed the Green trail up the valley along the stream.
Lastly, we turned right on the Black trail to go back up to the car.
There is lots of shade, pretty terrain and interesting spots to explore.
