Itinerary description

A beautiful hike, that leads to the Georges d'Héric.

Park at the larger parking in Mons or at the parking close to the church (better) close tot the Mairie.
At the church start hiking uphill follow the blue (triangle) markings.

This part of the hike climbs rather steeply, first on the asphalt, next on a smaller rocky trail.
Keep following the main trail, marked blue an sometimes red.
Follow a sign Bardou.

50 minutes after the sign Bardou, follow a road to the right with a blue cross, marked red.
This leads along and above Bardou.
The GR 7 meets the trail. Follow the GR 7 to the right steeply downhill
At the bridge, cross it and follow the trail uphill up to a small bar in Héric.
Follow the sign Douch and at the road, follow the concrete/asphalt all the way down

Just past the parking at a gite take a small trail uphill in the direction of the church.
Close to the church hike back to the car.
