Itinerary description
A walk in the moors (Fagnes) on the "roof" of Belgium. There is a beautiful strech through a natural pine forest where the trees and shrubs are growing freely, not planted in lines like in most forest. It has an alpine feeling. It is quite a surprising landscape, since most of the moors are rather flat. Here the trail follows the edge of a hill overlooking the moors, offering some beautiful sights. I also enjoyed the delicate scents of vegetation which adds to the feeling of relaxation.
It is a nice loop, not too long, perfect for the family. Wear proper shoes. It can get very wet and muddy.
