Itinerary description
We followed the track going west with Mont Thabor clearly in view from the start. We continue to rise through alpine up to the Col des Meanders. The ground becomes more rocky and the final section rises very steeply to the summit.
We took a different route down around Le Grand Seru, dropping to Lac Peyron before following a faint path alongside streams to rejoin the outward path taking us back to Les Granges.
