Itinerary description
From the big parking at Plateau de Beure a track through the woods will lead you gently from 1400 to 1540m, at which point you get into the open fields.
From that moment the views are beautiful and become astonishing. Especially when you reach the signpost The Belvedere and you will be able to look into the valley, direction La Chapelle-en-Vercors to the north and the Vreymont mountain range to the east.
Later when you get to the most southern point of the walk you will have marvellous views towards the mountains of the southern part of the Drome, especially the range of Les Trois Becs, Foret de Saou, Grand Colombe, Le Grand Delmas, Le Couspeau, Mont Angele, and even Mont Ventoux.
The descent towards the parking at Plateau de Beure is a broad stony track without any difficulties.
