Itinerary description
A climb to the spectacular summit of Montaña Carrasco at the head of the Barranco del Infierno. This route starts from the popular ˋOlivers Out of Townˋ restaurant just outside Arona. However, it is quite easy to start the walk in Ifonche, thereby reducing the distance. The views from the summit into the Barranco del Infierno are superb.
Waypoints 1 & 2
I inadvertently took the wrong path into the Barranco del Rey on the outward route and had to scramble up the side of the barranco to regain the path. I would recommend ignoring my track here and locating the path between Waypoints 1 & 2, which is easy to follow once the start of the path is located.
