Itinerary description
A varied route including coast, fields, barrancos and lanes. Generally good under foot. There's a short stretch of road walking at the beginning and end which is difficult to avoid, but nothing busy.
The parking in Barlovento is easy down either side of the road in designated spaces, so park close to the crossroads that mark the start of the hike. Navigating is straight forward, with the only critical section being the climb out of the barranco de la Vica as you come off the road half way round. Follow the broad track until you see a steep cliff about 30m in front of you. At this point take the earth stepped path that climbs steeply up from the left.
