Itinerary description
A circular hike to the summit of one of Tenerife's highest peaks, Montaña Guajara. This is a fairly strenuous, high altitude mountain walk starting from the National Parador in the Las Cañadas National park. The climbing is steep and although the cumulative ascent is only around 600 metres, the high altitude makes it feel a more strenuous hike. The scenery throughout is outstanding and the hike has probably the best views of Teide of any hike on the island.

Really beautiful hike with beautiful views of all sides. We had the perfect weather and temperatures with a sea of clouds below us. We highly recommend this hike.
