Itinerary description

A walk from the resort of Costa Teguise in Lanzarote to the summit of the volcano Montaña Tinaguache. The route passes through some surprisingly remote countryside when considering how close it is to the resort. After circling around behind the cone, the route then climbs extremely steeply to the summit. The path then follows a narrow ridge before descending steeply on a tricky path of loose stones and soil.
