Itinerary description
We parked by Montbau, up past the Recinte Mundet. Careful if you go up mid-week as most parking is green zone and gives you a maximum of 2 hours. You only have to pay in the green zone from Monday-Friday.
We decided to follow another route in reverse and headed up towards Sant Medir. Went past turning for Magarola but didn’t turn off. Great clear day with views of Montserrat and midweek so not many people around.
From Sant Medir we followed the road up, which was the least interesting bit of the route, past some great greens and oranges and then Can Puig, before turning off to the left down a much smaller path following a sign to Font den Sert and Font Groga.
We followed that to Vista Rica and then headed up again in the direction of Turo de Sant Cebria and then Serra Dels Agudells. Just after a gap in the trees with views of Tibidabo, turn right by a pile of stones and head down a small path. This is quite steep and windy.
A few nice gaps in the trees with views over Barcelona. Head down to Rabassada and walk next to it for a few minutes before cutting back in between the trees again, coming back out by the car.

Nice trail for beginners.
Well paced between flat surfaces and proper hiking.
Probably should have done it the other way around.

Moderate
Quite steep and narrow in places, and we got lost towards the end and had to make our way through some unpleasant spiky bushes.
There are some alright views but it feels like you never get a totally clear vantage point for the whole vista.
Overall not a bad trail but not a great one either
