Itinerary description
A hiking route that starts from a parking lot in Montblanc and goes to Ermita Sant Joan. From there, a relatively easy and short path goes to Cova de Nialo. Some kind of an old legend place. Nothing really spectacular besides the views.
From there, go back the same path to Ermita and then head to Area d'escalada Penitent through nice forest trails. I also deviated a little to get on top of a close peak, it worth it.
From there, straight to Area d'escalada Penitent, which is impressive if you think about all those huge rocks that fallen down hundreds or thousands years ago. A place to spend few minutes to get your mind relaxed.
Overall, the hike is not difficult, nor easy. I would not recommend going with kids, you will not be able to pass through the Area d'escalada easily with them.
Also, make sure you have proper shoes, asphalt shoes are not appropriate here.
