Itinerary description

This is a moderate hike from Montcada i Reixac to Badalona beach past the Mirador de Puig Castellar. You need to exit the train station, cross the river and follow the path along the river. You need to walk on the road for 5 minutes until you reach an old building and the sign for the trail. There's many ways to go up including following the road but we took a side path to go through the forest. You walk up a moderate hill for 15/20 minutes until you reach the road again. You can check out the old ruins and Mirador and then head towards the little church. It passes a cool looking Monestary but it was closed when we went. Then you head down through the first and enter Badalona. It's about a 30 minute walk to the beach where you can take a dip and grab the train back to Barcelona.
