Deze tocht is niet te lopen. Vlak na het kabelbaanstation zou het pad zich splitsen en zou je de linker afslag moeten volgen. Diverse keren terug gelopen maar die linker afslag is er niet (meer?). Daarop het pad recht gevolgd wat een afdaling is naar Funchal. Nooit maar lastig te lopen pad dat op diverse plaatsen in onderhoud is (2018). Wordt in de nabije toekomst waarschijnlijk beter.

nice trip at the end of our holiday, easy to find , easy to walk. Nicely nearby Funchal
Paths are alright and the tunnel was fun.
The path just west of the tunnel is not good, so go directly to the bridge.
