Itinerary description
We drove from Barcelona and stopped in the parking area at the entrance of the park. You can also go down and park next to the restaurant too.
The hike begins to the left of the restaurant head down the road before joining a natural path on your right. It's quite steep uphill after about 1 km. You go up through beautiful forest with lovely views.
There are yellow and white markers all the way along. You'll reach a sign and you need to go left to Montgros. There is lots of up and down and a few tight parts between rocks with a little climbing. It's a little more up hill at the end to the lovely peak.
On the way back down shortly after the sign you need to go left off the main path downhill. Follow the red markers. It changes to white markers at one point. It's all downhill after this and you'll follow along the side of the valley for a few kms to the restaurant for a well deserved caña.
