Itinerary description
Nice climb to the highest point in the Montserrat park (Sant Jeroni) from the Aeri de Montserrat train station.
You'll get out of the station and walk a little on the road, until you find the detour for the "camí de les aigües", which will take you (after some light scrambling and a steep flight of stairs) to the common acces road to the monastery.
Once there, follow the Dracera de Sant Jeroni up to the summit, following many stairs. This section is usually pretty crowded and narrow.
Once there, to return, I chose to take the alternate return path to the Funicular de Sant Joan and took it down (forgot to turn off wikiloc tracking). Considering the price of the ticket (9.75€) I would have climbed down (Around 1h to the monastery), but I was short of time before nightfall.
From Monsterrat Monastery you can climb down (multiple ways), or take the rack train or aeri down.
