Itinerary description
So we did this one as an endurance challenge and a challenge it was; 93 km clockwise around the Island in under 48 hours. My hat off to those that have done it in under 24 hours. A spectacular WE walking and 2 night camping. Lots of whales and dolphins visible from the beach. The parts of the route that appear to be in the water are on the beach or tidal flats at low tide.

Done by Andrew Barnard and Matt Holding in the 1990's in under 24 hours. A life-altering walk for them. It was the intended culmination walk trained-for by Iain Barnard, Ross Uhlmann and Rob Manthey by doing the front beach of Bribie (2x30km, Woorim to north tip, 60km in sand in 12 hours).
