Itinerary description

There is a rough road from Morro Jable snaking up a small hill, past a couple of telecoms towers, to an electricity pylon. At the end there is no path for 100m and the way is rough underfoot, so not worth risking that part without good visibility. There is no path further on, this is as far as you can walk safely. In late December the sun was hot and the wind strong, it felt like a force 5 or 6 up there.
A nice way to spend a spare 1-2 hours. Half way up is the only uninterrupted panorama from the lighthouse to the port, as, higher up, the ridge cuts the view in two.
At the bottom, in town, is a local bar (pictured) with inexpensive beer and good WiFi where I'm uploading this track from.
