Itinerary description

6 summits, a good full day hike. We had to park 1.6 km from where you would normally start the hike since the gate at the entrance was locked but once we made it to the caretakers house they were ok with letting us hike there. The trail is pretty well marked up to the 4th summit but from there you’re a bit on your own. To get to Cerro de la Cruz there is a point that is quite steep and you’ll find yourself rock climbing but nothing too risky. On the way back we got lost in a field of sweet brier so it took us a bit longer than we expected and ended up hiking after sundown so I do recommend you have a headlamp since it’s a long hike.
