Itinerary description
A great hike offering superb views over Schwyz and Lake Lucerne. We begin at Mostelberg, which can be reached by cable car from Sattel-Aegeri. From Mostelberg we cross Europe's longest swing bridge and meander along a pleasant path until we reach the foot of the Kleiner Mythen and Grosser Mythen. Then begins a hard slog through beautiful forrest up to the grassy pass between the two peaks where you can rest and enjoy amazing views of the world below. Then we circle around to the other side of Grosser Mythen and face the second hard slog to its summit. This is a truly rewarding climb on an excellent quality path. At the top there is a small bar/hut where you can reward yourself with a cold one. Then it's back down and on to Brunni down the valley where you can catch a bus to Einsiedeln for train connections.
