Itinerary description
Once in a lifetime opportunity, hiking up Mount Merapi 🇮🇩, one of the most-active stratovolcanos in the world! The trek began on the northern path of volcano, from the village of Selo, as the other paths were damaged due to eruptions in 2006 and 2011. We hiked up the Volcano throughout the night to reach the top by sunrise. Though it’s challenging, it is very rewarding!
