Itinerary description
there are clearly marked routes from the Obama monument however at some point early on on the ascent I lost my way and instead of retracing my steps and finding the red or blue ribbons hung on tree branches I ploughed on through the undergrowth and after coming to s small cultivated clearing decided to head for the trail without making the summit. So do not follow my trail up although the truck down is on the marked trail. Timing wise the trail down took me less than 40 minutes and itself was moderate. I’ve only marked the route difficult because my particular choice was exactly that.
