Itinerary description
This is the Mouti ton Anemon trail. It is an old path that used to connect nearby villages. It takes to the top of the mountain offering nice views on the neighbouring valeys. For the return path I saw that some people have taken an abandoned road to the small church of Agios Georgios Emnon, so I decided to use it as my return path.
Most of the trail is on footpath with small dirt road sections and it has plenty of shade. Main road sections on asphalted road has no shade. The old road has parts damaged by landslides and is being taken over by nature, but still passable, it has plenty of shade as well.
Apart from old sign where Gefira trail branches off there were no signs for the path. However the trail is well defined and it's easy to find the right path. There are also plenty of benches alont the path.
