Itinerary description
Note: NOT for inexperienced climber/hikers. The extension of the 3rd Gorge has some seriously difficult sections and GPS may be inaccurate due to the surrounding rocky Gorges/cliffs.
The trail starts going up Waterfall Gorge to the beautiful lookout across to Lake Moogerah and surrounds (Great rest spot).
From here you start the 3rd Gorge North around Mt Greville. I highly recommend going with someone with prior experience for any first timers.
I'll repeat my warning: GPS struggles to accurately show your location (I watched my location moving whilst stationary in a rocky Gorge!)
Very steep up/down scrambling with amazing views, finishing with a stainless steel climbing ladder not far from the end.
From the summit, we returned to the carpark via Palm Gorge.
