Itinerary description

Well this is a bit of a twist on the usual Greville trails. Picture some sort of evil mountain goddess perched on top of a ridge made of rock and death hurling boulders at anyone who dares to climb into her realm!!!

Now that you've got that in your head, you may be closer to understanding how my brain works and why the hell I would hike something like this!

If you desire to do this trail, you MUST be good with heights, balance, and accepting your fate. It's not easy, there are rocks that appear stable but will come loose as soon as you put some weight on them, or try to use them as hand holds and it's a jagged, unforgiving trip down to the bottom if you fall.

This is a technical scrambly hike so a good skill set in the area is non negotiable. Don't go to "see if you are up to it". Or just to "check it out" No! If you can't climb the sketchy section at Mt Barney SE or Logans Ridge, you can't climb this.

I went with 2 guys who are fully into this sort of terrain and were able to guide me through some of the "interesting" parts, but there's no way I would have tried it on my own.

This is to be climbed as a circuit, up the ridge, down Waterfall Gorge, I wouldn't recommend doing it in reverse unless you are skilled in the ways of such things.
