2-day route to reach these two peaks spending the night at the Dakesawa shelter:
Kamikochi / Dakesawa / Kimiko-daira / Mt. Maehotaka-dake / Kimiko-daira / Mt. Okuhotaka-dake / Karasawa / Yokoo / Kamikochi
And we could add Mount Karasawa-dake, from the Hotaka-dake-sanso shelter once we pass there, about 50 minutes round trip.
We didn't, as we were going straight to take the bus back, which is something to keep in mind, because the last one, at least when we went, is at 5:55pm.
The path is very well signposted throughout its route and you will have no problem following it.
In the shelters we find water available and various services, as well as food. If we want we can be very light.
Refuge page to make reservations (mandatory):
https://www.yarigatake.co.jp/dakesawa/
During the route we will find some uncomplicated steps with ladders and chains. Everything is very well suited to not have problems at any step.
And if you want much more information on how to access Kamikochi and others of interest, this is the park's page:

I hope you enjoy it. Sayonara!
