Itinerary description
A very special hike starting from the end of Drynans hut road. After the initial creek crossings and a little uphill you arrive at Paddy's Falls. This is a spectacular falls when the water is following which wasn't at the time I was there. In this particular hije we actually climbed up the side of Paddy's Falls which is not an easy climb.
From there you proceed up the adjoining creek and Fire trail and then follow the creek all the way up to just before the the top of Maroon and then proceed to climb up the western face of Mt Maroon. The return is via the tourist track.
This GPS track was done on a day where the GPS was a little unreliable and there was a lot of GPS noise in the actual gullies.
