Mtein-Falougha-Ain Zhalta Nature Reserve-Bmahraï

Dangerous ascents/descents
This trail started at Mtein village of Beautiful trees, hiking through a marked trail, as I approached the forest section of steep descent, the signs are unclear but managed to find it then at the bottom of valley a short walk on paved road and take left side on upward path, follow the signs..you'll pass through a tight path chains on wall to hold yourself then continues ascending all the way until you reach kind of farm then continue to the high transmitter you go right here going upward until you reach the main road, passing through local sellers then take left side upward through dirt road and trees until you reach the pools then the spring water on right hand facing a tree before the steep ascent you start from there to the Top Mountain where the views are the many pools down there are stunning as seen in photos.
Be noticed that from transmitter to here I mixed btw the marked signs and routes I created on the spot, also many sections of this trail consists of so..
From Mountain Top you continue passing through water factory toward Falougha, here ends first section of marked trail, good for some rest.
Then from here head to the Lebanese Big Flag where there's the Nature Forest that is closed by big door and as the marked trail looked to pass through it, found no other option than creating a route on the spot so went through the forest in very steep dangerous descent to then partially catch the main road then enter into the Mountain, part of it through the marked signs until reached the Police checkpoint at Dahr El Baidar.
Cross the road to continue to Ain Zhalta, took lower road then joined the marked trail on dirt road until a valley part where signs are unclear but after scrambling found a path through fruits trees after until the entrance of Ain Zhalta Nature Reserve, from there continued to Bmahrai where I had set my tent for the night.
This is the first day of the 3 day trekking trail that ends at Bkassine village.
