Very simple and beautiful excursion. Not that it is very spectacular, for what Norway likes, but it is a good walk if you are in the area. It is not expensive or takes a long time. Recommendable.
The route starts past Fjaerland (also called Mundal), a picturesque village in the fjord of Fjaerlandsfjorden. Very touristy, but the 'ordas' of people do not go to this route, but to see the accessible glaciers of Supphellebreen and Boyabreen, that you see almost without getting off the car, and that can be a good complement to this day of excursion if you go after making the route. We did it like that. You can then take something in the cafeteria of the Boyabreen, seeing the glacier from there. Pretty cool.
This route is recommended in the tourist brochure of Fjaerland. It would be the hiking tour 4, Fjellstolen.
We leave the car right where the track begins. There is a very good place to park there.
