Itinerary description
From the big public parking place, the start of this walk, the view of the Jalón Valley is wonderful.
The first part, towards the Ermita de Sant Sebastiá, situated at 380 metres, is an easy climb along the service road.
From the Ermita you have an even better view of the valley as well as of the Montgo and the coast and sea between Oliva and Els Poblets.
The track down to Murla is easy and zigzags its way through the trees.
From Murla we followed a mountainbike track crossing the river Xaló at a ford and followed this track through wooded countryside and fields of almond trees, vineyards, and orange groves to Parcent, a beautifully situated village.
From Parcent we followed a mountainbike track to the north. When this track turns sharply to the south west we followed a stony track through the wetlands and had to cross the river Xaló again which was not really difficult.
Leaving the wetlands the track goes up to Murla along vineyards and almond tree orchards.

Moderate
If you follow the trail from Parcent, the first ford over the river could be too deep if it’s winter, or if it has been raining.
Otherwise a really nice trail.
