Itinerary description
From Murren, take the funicular up to the Allmendhubel, and begin the Mountain View Trail to Grutschalp. This is a fun and flower-filled hike with some of the best views in Switzerland. The Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau are always in sight!

I hiked this trail this week. It is indeed an amazing beautiful hike. I have hiked many trails in this area and I can say that the Mountain View trail has the best scenic views. Almost the entire trail is open meadow with easy walking. I suggest hiking the trail in the reverse direction. Almost all of the hikers had started in Grutscalp. The best views are scene heading south to Allmendhubel.
