Itinerary description
Dropping down into the rambla below Sopalmo we head west to the Cortijo de Junta. Here we ascend a rocky ridge we refer to as "Machu Picchu". We reach an altitude of 572 metres where we have lunch. Stunning views of Carboneras. We descend by the road from Adelfa to Sopalmo.

Nice walk - quite hilly and very hot when we did it!
Can be quite tricky finding the correct climb out of the rambla.
