Itinerary description
From La Mayaru we follow the railway track towards Serena for about 3 km passing through a disused railway tunnel. After a short climb we descend into the Rambla. Along the way one can see evidence of the old mining activities. At the ruined cortijo we begin a long steep climb over rough ground of about 200 metres to reach our lunch spot by "The Two Trees". After lunch we have another short climb before meeting the Serena road. From here we follow the road towards Serena before picking up the track at Los Pinos which leads us back along the railway track, through the tunnel to our cars.
