Itinerary description

From La Mayaru we follow the railway track towards Serena for about 3 km passing through a disused railway tunnel. After a short climb we descend into the Rambla. Along the way one can see evidence of the old mining activities. We lunch at a ruined cortijo before a long steep climb over rough ground of about 200 metres before meeting the Serena road. From here we follow the road towards Serena before picking up the railway track again back to our cars.
