Itinerary description
After leaving Mojacar past the old football ground we head towards El Alcantarilla. Just before the orange grove we ascend a steep track to our highest point on the walk. After descending into El Alcantrilla we have a short climb to our lunch spot with views to Turre and Bedar beyond. After lunch we follow the mountain track back to Mojacar.

Trail very hard to find. House are build on the trail so you have to go over private land and to ask.

Would have been a lovely walk but unfortunately we lost the trail about 1km from Mojacar Pueblo and had to walk down a road to the roundabout and then back up to the Pueblo on the pavement. Will maybe try and do it the other way around next time and try and work out where we went wrong.
Half the walk completely overgrown, last bit over private property. Not recommendable.
Don’t do it. This walk is terrible because of the overgrown and destroyed paths!
