Itinerary description
From Alfaix Bridge you descend down the tarmac road crossing the Rambla and taking the track which eventually leads to the summit above Fossil Valley. (about 200 metres). Following the track toward Cortijo Grande you take a left at the wooden posts. This eventually brings you to the junction of the rambla and road down from Cortijo Grande. You then climb as if heading for the Orange Grove but turn off at the top into the campo. This is the Flat Ridge (ha ha). Stunning views of the Cabreras and Cortijo Cabrera to your left. The rough campo soon gives way to a recognisable track which leads back to the summit above Fossill Valley. From here you descend down the track that you ascended at the beginning of the walk. This eventually will lead you back to Alfaix Bridge.
