Itinerary description
From Yaxcha ruins site, you can follow the 19km road to the site of Nakum pretty easily. Then, from here, there's a turn on the left right before the campgrounds in Nakum.
Small ups and downs all the way until the viewpoint, which climbs up to a Mirador where you can have a glimpse at how isolated you actually are.
From there it's only another 10/15 min to El Tigre. Few ruins to check out and a sort of a lodge where you can spend the night or enjoy a beer and a chat with the park workers there for a bit before heading to the ruins of Xoltul (2.5hs) or head back to Nakum Yaxcha.
