Itinerary description

We hiked from Neve Ativ to the peak of Mt. Hermon with a view of Syria
Then took the cable-car downhill and hitch-hiked back to Neve Ativ.
The hike up took about 6 hours.
The hitch-hiking was quite easy as there were many people who came by car and parked at the lower station of the cable-car. (also called upper parking lot).

The price of the cable-car in both direction is 54 NIS, downhill only was 30 NIS.

This is definitely not an easy hike. There no technical difficulties, but it is long and steep with a lot of elevation gain.

The weather was good about 18C and sunny.

Check out this video recording from the hike.

One could go on the asphalt road. It is much easier, shorter, and faster, but not as beautiful
