Itinerary description
After the last swimming pool of the Fuentes Georginas, there is a small track on the left. This track allow climbing on the mountain to reach 2900meters of altitude. Then you can choose the track on the left which is going to Mount Zunil (which we didn't) at 3500 meters. Or you can choose the track on the left (the path we have choosen) to slowly go back to Zunil city.
Note that the entrance at the Fuentes Georginas are at 60Q for foreigners and are opened from 8am to 5pm.
To go there you can take a chicken bus from Xela (https://maps.app.goo.gl/zniMQosz72vynNDd6). When arriving at the main bridge of Zunil city, you can ask to a tuktuk or pickup to drive you to Fuentes Georginas (50Q for the drive). Then enjoy the hot water and then you can start the hiking.
Do not forget that here, the clouds are masking the view around 11am.
At the end of the track, there is still 5km to go to Zunil city center that we've chosen to do by tuktuk (20Q).

We tried to climb up to have a nice point of view but we saw only bird. Maybe not useful to get there !!
