Itinerary description
Tolle Wanderung , unglaubliche Aus-/Weitsichten. Der erste Teil ist stetig ansteigend und Teilweise steil. Es lohnt sich.
Auf der Musenalp hat es ein sehr gutes Restaurant, gute Auswahl.

Beautiful! Very difficult but doable and worth it for the meat n cheese at the top! We decided to hike from the bottom instead of taking the cable car up which was a good decision for us. Although we then didn’t make it to buochserhorn and went straight to musenalp. It seems the trail you took between buochserhorn and musenalp included some mountaineering aspects which we weren’t equipped for, but there was a slightly longer way around.
We took the cable car down from musenalp to Niederrickenbach and the gondola to the bottom where we caught the train. In total, including the train to and from luzern as well as both gondola rides down (not up), about 32 euros round trip
