There are two big parkings just before entering the village with its narrow streets.
We first went up to the two Miradors above the village from which you have good views of Nigüelas, Durcal, Padul and the plain.
After this we walked the Sendero de La Pavilla along an acequia which frequently disappears into the mountain, a stretch with beautiful views into the valley.
On reaching the Rio Torrente we took the track signposyed Cahorros which will lead you through an impressive gulley.
At the end of the gulley we climbed the track to a road that led us back to the Rio Torrente.
After a short stretch along the river we took a small road that took us along almond tree and olive tree fields to the small village of Acequias.
From here we descended along the road towards the rio Torrente and then took the same road up back to Nigüelas again.
