Itinerary description
7 Day hike with a tent, crossing the D-Day invasion beaches and Normandy cliffs.
(Caen - Juno Beach- Gold Beach - Omaha Beach Cemetry - Point du Hoc - Carentan)
It used to be the GR223 route(Sentier du litoral), but due to erosion of the cliffs the trail is closed and the GR 223 is alternated inland. However the path is still visible but partly overgrown. The views on the cliffs are amazing.
